You have my sympathy! It's good to know I'm not the only one dealing with these things. You can find the solutions I've shared so far here: http://www.keeping-home.com/blog/category/homemaking/organization/
(or just click on organization under the Positive Homekeeping menu above).

I still have a few more to post, then it's back to work finding more solutions. :-) AND just dealing with stuff ~ like doing the mending so it's out of the way, and cleaning the wastebasket I found in the storage room so that I can use it.

Following the "Positive Homekeeping Weekly Challenge" (and reading previous PHWC posts) might help. I believe in "doing the doable!" The PHWC posts are located in the Positive Homekeeping menu also.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my I can so relate to your blog. It's so true about being poor and not being able to get the right tools such as things like storage bins etc... My own lack of space and storage and as you say hanging on to things that I might need later it is all so true. On top of my own problems I am trying to help my mother who is a hoarder as in a real hoarder. Another problem I face is when I go to tackle things it is overwhelming and it makes you want to tuck tail and run as in AVOID dealing with it. I know what you mean about living in unfinished and having to make do too. Hope it helps to know you are not alone and I look forward to learning tips on how to cope and overcome this problem.
Thanks :-)

Hehe! Notebooks help but I think it's more like, "organized women make notebooks." Organization is very much an internal thing.
