Well, our get together had to be postponed so I’m still working on Christmas presents. As soon as I learned they didn’t have to be ready by Jan 8th I slacked off (of sewing, that is). I must get back to work, though, or I will be faced once more with the possibility of IOUs!
While working on one of my projects the end of last week I made a discovery: removing white stitching from white cross-stitch fabric is very time-consuming and not the least bit fun. I don’t recommended it.
But of course, if it’s necessary, one must do it. Just be very, very careful because the sewing thread and threads in the fabric are indistinguishable. Don’t cut any of the stitches! Pull the sewing thread out stitch by stitch. And THAT’s why it takes so long!
