Promise #1: The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. ~ Psalm 145:8

Promise #3: My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous . . . ~ 1 John 2:1
Promise #4: . . . and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. ~ John 6:37
Promise #5: Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. ~ Micah 7:8
Promise #6: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ~ 1 John 1:9
Promise #7: For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. ~ Romans 5:10
Promise #8: . . . For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ~ Romans 10:13
Promise #9: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. ~ Matthew 1:21
Promise #10: . . . the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ~ 1 John 1:7
Promise #11: . . . according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ~ 2 Peter 1:3-4
Promise #12: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. ~ John 15:4-5
Promise #13: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. ~ Isaiah 54:17
Promise #14: . . . But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. ~ Galatians 5:22-23 (see also Luke 11:11-13).
Promise #15: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. ~ Matthew 5:6
Promise #16: . . . it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. ~Philippians 2:13
Promise #17: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? ~ Romans 8:31-32
Promise #18: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. ~ Hebrews 4:16
Promise #19: Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:6, margin.
Promise #20: . . . being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: ~ Philippians 1:6
The promises are real. Claim them!
